A Very Exciting Investment Please note, this is not a child’s play toy. I do not deem this a safe toy for any child, and consider it a center piece for avid collectors. When I first clicked the button and kissed my money goodbye, I thought I had a general idea of the size of the piece, having read the dimensions and weight, etc. I simply was not prepared for the massive box that arrived at my door step six days later. My awe mounted as I removed the the collector’s box and opened it. The styrofoam block within had a molded image of the statue inside and on its backside was a collector’s card which informed me of other things to be found after registering my item through the creator’s website. Within the styrofoam I found Link and Epona in six pieces. The heft of the base and Epona was quite high, surprising me. The pieces– Link’s head, arm and sword, the base, the shield and sheath, Epona and Link’s bodies, and the base– all went together easily and without much strain. Only his arm is ever so slightly loose in the joint.Details! Oh the details in this piece! From the stitches on Link’s clothes to the hairs on Epona’s body, not a thing was forgotten. Kudos to the artisan of this magnificent piece. And the size! When the description says 17 inches tall and 16 inches long, they are not lying. Though granted I am under average in size, the overall height of the piece is just slightly higher than the length of my forearm with fingers outstretched! Epona is a massive beast and is capable of dominating your field of vision. With fine craftsmanship and shear size on its side, it is a real eye catcher, even amongst other collector’s pieces. The only thing I could possible complain about this piece is some of the paint work. As with anything mass produced, the paint sometimes juts over into areas it really shouldn’t belong. The most noticeable example of this is where the blanket and harness edges meet with Epona’s body. Though, if one is not looking closely, it is still easily missed.Overall, well crafted, wonderfully package piece! A must-have for avid collectors of everything Legend of Zelda.

Another fine statue from First 4 Figures This statue is epic!I am an avid Legend of Zelda collector, having spent hundreds upon hundreds of dollars on toys, action figures, and other statues. This one takes the cake. It is beyond cool. It is beyond awesome. If you love Legend of Zelda, or even if you don’t, this statue is one to own.The price is scary, but I have not once regretted buying it. If you have the extra cash, and want something that can really upscale your collection, this is the one to buy.Other reviewers have mentioned the details, so I won’t get into that. Needless to say, everything is great. I had no issue with any of the pieces fitting together. This is a valuable piece for a collector, but don’t let the value be your motivating force to buy. Buy because you like it. Display it proudly. And if you are new to collecting, this is one to brag about!

A centerpiece for any collection! Well, this is certainly the most expensive figure I’ve ever bought. Sorry, I had to throw that out there. It is definitely an investment being $400 and up. (Depending where you buy, so shop around!) That said, this is something that can only hold it’s value over time. The details are excellent and the size was also impressive-Link on Epona is not just a very tall figure (16 inches I believe) but also heavy and robust. Make sure you have the space on a shelf. He does come in several pieces that go on easily. The only trouble I had was fitting the biggest part, Link and Epona’s main bodies into their base. The paint work is top notch with only a few flaws on the saddle blanket. The arm holding his sword has a very small amount of play in it, but these two things are insignificant really; although the other review here reported the same thing. In short, the craftsmanship is excellent. The manufacturer encloses you a id# to register yours on their website and I just may do that. As I understand it allows you the ability to get the same number of the next Master Arts series. In close, a breathtaking and amazing piece.
